"T-Minus 72 Hours..."

xxx
Well, here we go...

Today House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D - MD) said that the 'Slaughter Solution' was a poison pill and instead, he wanted a vote on the floor by Sunday night on the Glorious People's Revolution. Uh, I mean the Health Care Reform Bill.

Now remember, this is the bill that the Don Knotts Transvestite looking Nancy Pelosi has refused to let anyone see yet. And this is the bill they are threatening to pass by not voting on it, but rather voting on a rule ABOUT it and then 'deeming' the bill to have passed, despite the fact the Constitution requires a vote on any bill on the floor to be considered a law after Presidential signatures are applied.

And this is the bill that died in late January but was revived when His Holy Lord On High Obama decreed in that disastrous State of the Union Speech "I don't quit" and doubled down on his agenda. Yep, this is the bill he has bet his entire presidency and legacy on. You see, this IS personal now.

That's why he has no qualms about throwing fellow libs under the bus to get what he wants (Rep. Eric Massa D-NY ring any bells?). In fact, when he spoke to the Hispanic Caucus from the House the other day, he essentially came clean and, according to one anonymous Dem that was there, said that if the Big Health Takeover didn't pass, his presidency was over.

Oh. I see. So, this was never about getting health care to the poor, the indigent, the needy...this was about BO making huge campaign promises to legions of idiots chanting 'Yes We Can!' and betting the farm that he could do it. And why not? He had supermajorities in both houses of Congress so it looked like an easy slam dunk. But this goober bean has had perhaps the worst first year of any President in history. No one, especially Mr. Oprah's-God-Himself-The-One thought it would nearly Easter of 2010 before the final head count on this monster bill would take place.

No, I'm sure BO thought by now that Health Care, Immigration Amnesty, Cap and Trade and whatever other big ticket items he had in mind would have had their tickets punched a long time ago. The problem is he didn't count on the fact that Democrats in the House would actually listen to their constituents and drag their feet on these huge items. There was such a rush of emotion having him anointed into office that I think he thought his agenda would be an easy lay up. But unfortunately for him, word leaked out about the details of the Health Care Bill and suddenly grass roots organizations sprang up to fight it.

And fight it they did. Congressmen got ambushed at town hall meetings, in their offices and in the media. Frankly, I've never seen a reaction like this in my lifetime. I've never seen the body politic get this involved, this angry for this long and pay this close attention on any issue. Maybe Bush's Amnesty deal in 2007 came close, but even it was nothing like this. There are several states already passing laws to PREVENT the Health Care Bill from taking effect! Amazing!

But now we are finally at the tipping point. Monday morning, March 22nd, 2010 this could all be over. And we'll know if BO's Chicago street thug tactics bullied enough Dems into rolling over and giving him the magic 216 he needs to change America forever. Will he succeed and bask in the media invented glory of 'delivering the undeliverable' in the face of 'hate filled' opponents? Or will he go down in flames and try to use the failure as a means of blaming talk radio, tea parties and the GOP for lusting after the deaths of poor blacks and latinos in the form of 'health care only for the rich white'?

Who knows? As of 9pm tonight I've heard the Dems lack anywhere from 5 to 10 votes from getting 216. When Hoyer announced the vote, my first thought was 'They've got the votes, or they'd never risk doing it.' But I might be wrong...the intense pressure BO has applied can only last so long before his own folks crumble, break and turn on him. This is the most intense game of political brinkmanship I think we've seen in our lifetimes, and it must be killing these D.C. cowards to have to make a decision and be held accountable for it. The Dems may have demanded a vote just to finally get it over with.

What I do think is true is that Obama cares not one whit if he is a one term President. In fact, on the very cusp of this huge vote, he drops the statement that using the 'Slaughter Solution' to force through Amnesty is a valid tool. OK, now THAT tells me something. Remember his speech to the House Latinos? He honestly was telling them 'if you don't vote my way I can't give you amnesty later, I'll be too weak.' Another bribe, much like the Louisiana Purchase of Mary Landrieu.

You see, Obama knows that if he gets Universal Health Care AND Amnesty, he has guaranteed the Democrat Party millions of votes in the future, votes that can never, ever be taken away because they will be considered 'rights.' And I think he further believes these two huge agenda items will canonize him eternally amongst the ranks of the leftists and his legacy will forever be assured. Hell, the U.N. might even ask him to be Secretary General (I mean, they do have a thing for dictatorial, corrupt, socialist black guys not born in America, so BO is a shoe in.)

So as the hours count down, we'll get more stories about how courageous BO is for not going abroad but staying in town to 'oversee' the Dems who are undecided and how people who are on death's door, clinging to life just waiting to see if the Fed will save them with free medical services. I think, honestly, it will pass by about 2 to 4 votes. And the resulting massive media tidal wave of adulation will attempt to wipe out of memory all the strain and anger leading up to the vote. They'll say that is over, there is no need to be filled with hate because it's done and the poor are saved. They'll then immediately spike any and all stories about politicos getting a tsunami of letters, calls and faxes telling them their goose is flambe for voting for the bill. And we'll all be expected to swallow what Barack has puked out and to dutifully forget what all the hub-bub was about.

Except the folks in the real America won't forget. And if BO has the gall to try to push 'Immigration Reform' through before November, then the 2010 off year elections will be even worse for the Dems then they are sure to be now. But he doesn't care. In fact, if he does push Immigration Reform before November you can take that as a sure sign he's accepted himself as a one term Prez. And if he gets these two turd passed into law, then I think he'll spend his last two years in office throwing out simplistic bromides and ideas aimed at creating an image of a compassionate, caring leader who got crucified for delivering his chosen people their due reparations. And then...he'll step down.

Yep, I think he steps down by announcing that after four years he got what he wanted and 'there is too much hate, too much racism, too much corruption for me to be effective anymore' and he'll refuse to run in 2012. Instead of suffering a humiliating land slide defeat that his ego will not tolerate, he'll instead ease into a life of 'retired messiah', giving $1,000,000 speeches to universities in Europe and ripping America for fighting him on his agenda.

But the damage will be done to America and the Democrat party. The only thing that I think remains to be seen is, how will the GOP respond? If we get more of the likes of Lindsey Graham, Bill Frist, Jeb Bush and John McCain, then nothing will change BO's disastrous legacy. This is where Sarah Palin comes in and saves the day - by not running for President in 2012. Now, follow me on this...

Palin knows she's been 'Borked' and doesn't stand a chance of being taken seriously enough to run. But, she is very, very valuable as a 'Kingmaker' and she can resuscitate the GOP as such. Imagine if she stood back and watched a collection of Republicans line up in the 2012 primary quoting Ronald Reagan just like in 2008, but this time she is the referee determining which one was the REAL deal. Imagine if she attended the last primary debate and said for example, "I've been listening and I believe THIS guy is THE man to lead us forward! You betcha!" Imagine if she lined up behing a Mike Pence and strongly proclaimed "No, this guy is The One!" Whoa...shivers!

THAT man instantly has the entire GOP base and all conservatives in his corner. At once. And most independents will be open to anyone who can and will give the country back to the people. Running for President against the likes of Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Obama will be like beating up a blind, paraplegic cotton tail rabbit suffering with H1N1. And if this huge Socialist Trojan Horse of Health Care passes Sunday night? Multiply the ease by which the 2012 candidate can tear BO a new exhaust pipe by a numerator bigger than the size of James Cameron's ego.

In fact, I think Palin knows all this and has decided that she is far more important as the person who wins back the soul of the GOP than she ever could be as a simple President. A President has at most 8 years to do what he or she wants. But Palin returning the GOP to it's Reagan roots could affect America for a generation or more. And she knows it. It would, however be nice to see someone like Mike Pence pick her up on the 2012 bounce and place her where she rightfully was in '08...back in the VP slot. That'd be a nice touch of justice that I hope would give John McCain a case of acid reflux that all the Prilosec OTC in the world couldn't cure.

So, to sum it all up...what is it that we are 72 hours from? We are T-minus 72 hours from the death of radical Socialism and liberal influence in America, the rise of Sarah Palin as Kingmaker and the Rebirth of the Reagan Revolution.

I still don't want that fetid piece of garbage to pass on Sunday, but if it does...Barack Obama will have done what George W. Bush and all the country club Republicans in the world could not do...make America fall in love with Constitutional Conservatism again.

And somwhere the Gipper will know 'It's morning again in America.'

I love it.
