Just a quick post today. Why is this man upset? Well, I'll tell ya'...HE'S A DOODFUS WHO JUST GOT PUNKED BY THE BCS AND HAD HIS CHANCE AT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RIPPED AWAY!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Ahem...sorry. Let me calm down. Ahem...that's better.
For those that follow college sports, you know this man, Mack Brown, as the head coach of the University of Texas Longhorn football team. He is also very upset today because on Sunday the college football bowl system's computers put UT's arch rival, the Oklahoma Sooners, in front of UT, setting OU up to go to the national championship. As we in Austin know, this is unfair. Why? Because UT deserves everything, everytime in everyway simply because they are UT. This sincerely is their belief. Well, OU and the BCS just crapped on their belief system! Ha ha ha!
This is so hilarious. Why? Because Mack Brown is a slimy used car salesman. This BCS blow up is music to my ears, and an early Christmas gift from the football gods, even sweeter than watching that bird hit Fabio in the nose on that roller coaster a few years back. Wheee!!
When he was head coach at North Carolina, Brown lied to every recruit he could to try to get ahead, even if it meant ruining thier college careers just so they couldn't play on another team. He has a real problem, it seems, with telling the truth or keeping his word. In fact, back in '98 before comng to Texas, he promised the student body, athletic staff and local media that the rumors of him going to Texas were false and that he absolutley, positively would not leave NC in the lurch. But then left within just a few days for Texas. It seems he signed the deal to leave before he made his promise to not leave. Ask any Tarheel fan - they know him and they really, really don't care for him.
Mack then came to UT and turned it into thug central, wrecking a pretty clean program, too. You know, win at all costs. How bad is it? Want a partial list of arrests since 2005? OK, here you go:
Defensive end Henry Melton was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Safety Robert Joseph was arrested and charged with two counts of burglarizing a vehicle.
Joseph was arrested again and charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
Joseph arrested a third time with Andre Jones for aggravated robbery.
Linebacker Sergio Kindle was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Freshman Andre Jones was arrested on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Tyrell Gatewood was arrested on two misdemeanor charges for possession of a dangerous drug and wreckless driving. His second arrest.
DB Ben Wells, freshman, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Henry, freshman RB, was arrested for tampering with evidence related to Robert Joseph's case and 2 counts of felony obstruction.
...and that doesn't even count all that charges filed and dropped on scumbags like Cedric Benson and Vince Young.
Brown is the same classless goof that also benched the most prolific passer in UT history, Major Applewhite, so Chris Simms (son of NY Giants QB Phil Simms) could try to build a college career and play in the NFL. We saw how well that turned out. Chris was a celebrity QB and a big flat flop, ineptly costing UT the Big XII Championship in 2001.
Mack the Knife refused to let Applewhite play his senior season, which would have made him a major (pun intended) Heisman candidate because Mack needed the celebrity of a pro QB's son playing to keep UT games on TV and, presumably, keep UT in the limelight. Despite telling Applewhite he was the starter for good in his Junior year. Brown has a long history of misleading players, no matter how bad it wrecks their future prospects or collegiate resume. Simply put, he is a con man.
Lastly, Mack back in 2004 pulled the lowest stunt a coach can. When the polls showed UT behind Cal by a razor thin margin in the BCS scores, he called fellow coaches at home (after the regular season games were over) and begged them to change their vote regarding Cal in the next poll. Why? So the BCS would let UT slip ahead of Cal, which is what happened, and UT stole Cal's place in the Rose Bowl that year.
The man actually politicked another team out of their rightful place in the Rose Bowl that they earned on the field just for his own success. No wonder Cal wants to play UT so bad....paybacks,baby!
Well, this year, paybacks came like a ton of lead and they hurt like a bear, don't they, Mack? You see, Oklahoma just pulled ahead of UT by less than 2 hundredths of a point, and "stole" UT's place in the Big XII Championship game, and most likely in the Orange Bowl National Championship game, too. Oh, ha ha ha ha ha ha! This is too rich!
Now Mack is crying foul saying the computers robbed him. Really, but they didn't rob Cal? Well, nuts to you, Brown. You've been sliming, cheating, bribing and stealing throughout your coaching career and it caught up to you this weekend. I don't believe in karma, but if I did I'd say it just snuck behind you with a Louisville slugger and hit a triple out to far right field with your brainbox.
Besides, for all the whining the Longhorn babies are doing about being robbed, getting jobbed or whatever, I'd like to point out just one thing...
...if you just took care of business and had beaten Texas Tech, it would have all been academic. You blew it - bwa ha ha ha ha!! IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT!
Wow, first the Tech upset and now the BCS bomb! What a a truly great Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for I'm as giddy as a school girl, wheeeeeeeeeeee!
Oh, thank you, cold, merciless and logical BCS computers! Thanks for wrecking Mack Brown's chances at another National Championship and dashing his dreams!
And this is certainly not coming from a Tarheel , Sooner or a Cal fan. Just someone who knows you don't want some lying, creepy, seedy coach to wreck your team's rep and turn it into Thug U. Trust me. It's a long road back when that happens. And Texas will find that out.
Go Canes, Go!
