Jeremiah Wright....May Have Been Right

But in the wrong way.

It ain't America's "chickens that are coming home to roost," it's Obama's. I remember back in the dark days of 2008 predicting that this idiot would be a victim of his own success, and it looks more than ever like that is exactly what's happening.

When one looks closely at the tidal wave of support he got from his fellow travelers back in when Obamacare got rammed down the throat of an American populace that didn't want it, it appeared this was a fait accompli that could never be killed. Then, in June of 2012, when Chief Justice John Roberts (Bush's 2nd Biggest Mistake Ever) reinvented the entire Constitution and created pseudo law out of whole cloth to save it, it seemed even more cemented in reality. Obamacare was the scaly monster that rose from the murky deep and began crushing the Bill of Rights like a toy Tokyo on a movie set. It was unbeatable and was poised to destroy everything.

That is, until Obama got what he wanted and Obamacare went into effect.

Before we knew the full impact that Obamacare would have on the country, though, some folk tried to stop it by defunding it. The media took unbridled delight in ripping Ted Cruz and the GOP to pieces for shutting down the government back in October of this year, and it seemed like the party of Reagan was deader than disco over their failed attempt at driving a stake through the ACA's heart.

But fail it did, and the broken GOP couldn't even seem to agree on how to oppose glaring tyranny anymore. Ted Cruz was screaming "Tear Down This Wall!" while the Senate GOP RINO's were looking more and more like the pigs at the end of Animal Farm and yelling back "We lost, it's over. Leave that wall up and we'll just decorate it with some piñatas and Rockefeller paintings." 

With that civil war ongoing between the McCain Surrender Monkeys and the Tactical Cruz Missiles, Obama looked like he would ride high as the upcoming Affordable Care Act rolled out and put millions of Americans on a program that would instantly create a well of dependence so deep that it would live beyond the life of our own sun.

Again, that is, until it actually went into effect.

Obama has sunk to an all time low of 54% Disapproval Rating, beaten only historically be George W. Bush's rating as he left office in the wake of the Iraq War quagmire. Why? Because when the ACA went "Flame On" it immediately crashed like a bi-plane on fire and made a laughingstock of Obama. Kathleen Sebelius', Secretary of Health and Human Services, didn't help matters with her prickly defensiveness when grilled about the lousy job she and the HHS had done in preparing for the roll out. 

And it wasn't like they were overwhelmed, in some parts of the country some states are seeing as few as half a dozen people sign up. That's about 6. In an entire state. Wow.  The only ones happy with this travesty seemed to be the gag writers for Leno and Kimmel.

But the big momma jomma was when millions of Obama supporters (young, self employed, independent, work at small company, etc.) started getting notices that they were summarily kicked of their health insurance and would be FORCED into their local state health exchange. Which they had to pay for out of pocket. At nearly twice or three times the price. And couldn't keep their doctor. And lost medical coverage if the government decided they couldn't have it.

Now stop and imagine this scenario for a minute. Liver patients, cancer patients, diabetes patients...all these folks desperately needing medical coverage, who voted for Obama so as to get all this very expensive coverage for free. And they believed Obama when he (now) infamously stated "If you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance." But know they know the truth. It was a lie. A disgusting, political trick to get his way. And not just any lie.

It was the biggest, most blatant and insidious lie ever uttered by a sitting US President. Why? Many have lied, sure, but this guy lied KNOWING they'd be kicked off their insurance, lose their doctor and many who couldn't afford to simply pay for their treatment (who could?), will now die. That's right. He knew they would die. And he didn't care, he had a political goal to meet, which was getting total govt. control over all of our lives through Obamacare. This is the stuff that 1930's European dictators are made of, man.

So now, we have a sitting President who lied to millions of folk about keeping their insurance, about keeping their doctor, about even getting to continue receiving treatment, and now they'll  be fined potentially thousands of dollars if they don't sign up for government run healthcare that costs them 3X what they were paying before, only to get horribly lousy service and treatment. This is what 'free' socialized medicine looks like? Uh, yes. And you were warned loudly about that.

So, free health really meant: get lied to, lose your coverage, pay three times as much and get rotten service in return and possibly no treatment at all if it's expensive, it will be rationed out as the government sees fit.  Yes, Virgina, this is Obamacare. This is what you get when you turn the keys to providing for yourself over to the government. Death by bureaucrat. 

And this was all so horrifically predictable. Anyone with a brain knew this was coming. But more troubling was that fact that Obama knew it, too. The real nasty secret is, this was all by design. Obama wanted a system so broken, so expensive and so odious, that he and his donkey cohorts would come in later and say "Oh, this is horrible! The GOP didn't let us do it right when we passed it the first time, they have obstructed your right to free health care! If we can create a single payer system to replace Obamacare as it is, we can fix all this and relieve you of this titanic mess!" One wonders how they will find a way to blame Bush for this mess later on.

Terrifyingly, the simplified definition of single payer means that the US Government will take over every hospital, every clinic, every drug, every doctor, every nurse, every single aspect of the American medical industry and create a single, one stop shop where BY LAW you will be forced to come to a government employee or government clinic to get ANY medical coverage.  That's all. Single Payer system. Sound good to you?

Single payer might as well be called Single Power, because the government will have total, single authority over every aspect of your medical life forever. Your children's birth, prescription medication,etc. Hell, they've already made the case that the construction of your home, the type of car you drive, whether you can own a firearm or even if you can spank your child are ALL medical issues.

See the endgame? There is nothing in your life that the government won't be able to squeeze into a medical topic - no aspect, idea, notion, freedom, right, nothing. They will control all. That was the plan.

But Obama's problem is that people are realizing he lied is skinny butt off and they're outraged now, way ahead of schedule.  They're losing coverage and now no one with any sense wants Obamacare to continue. Many pundits are predicting that by late spring of 2014, he will have no choice but to sign either a total revocation or a long term suspension simply because the political price the Dems are paying now for this 900 lb. gorilla is beyond painful and it will destroy them in the 2016 Off Year Election.

Vulnerable Dems are going to home for the Holiday break soon, and there is no doubt they will get an earful like the Earth has never seen before. Many will being blamed as "the one who cast a vote to kick cancer patients off their healthcare." How does a politician recover from that? Repeal, repeal, repeal, that's how.

And Ted Cruz, the poster boy for extremist 'wacko birds' only one short month ago, will be the leading voice in calling for the Death of Obamacare. He was right all the time; this thing was a nuclear assault on American freedom and liberty, and was by design. If Obama does lose the ACA, his one and only 'signature' accomplishment, he will painted even by the left as the biggest failure to ever haunt the Oval Office. Jimmy Carter will finally be off the hook.

All that remains to be seen is how BO will respond. His history suggests that, in his arrogance and sense of self appointed deity, he should never have to compromise, work out a deal or give in on any issue. Like a deluded World War One general, he just digs in deeper, doubles down, dares any opposition to defy him and keeps fighting the same fight. That may have worked in the past, when the media gave him cover, but when cancer patients are dying without coverage because of his lies, he's done. His trench warfare days may finally be catching up to him.

Even the Hillbilly Pervert In-Chief Bill Clinton came out this week and said "Let's be fair, people should keep their own plans." There is no one that will support Obama in leaving this sinking ship as is. One wonders if the folks in the Democrat Brain Trust Department now wish they'd have taken a much smaller bite and not listened to this guy. His success at cutting any throat to get his way is about to cost may of his minions their careers. And cost Obama his legacy, if it falls apart. Chickens coming home to roost, indeed.

I only hope the GOP has the brains to let this thing sink slowly, and don't try to save it to appear to 'the good guys.' When your opponent is destroying himself, give him a lot of room, a ton of time and get the Hell out of the way. But expecting the GOP establishment to show good sense or fight for Conservatism is like expecting that you can keep your doctor just because a Democrat said you could.

At any rate for now, and just in time for the holidays, let's enjoy the gift of watching Obama squirm, sweat and fracture under the blistering heat he's so rightly brought down on himself.
